Webbing solution is a clear liquid, gelcoat additive, used to obtain "spatter" or "cobweb" effects. It is mixed with gel coat of one color and sprayed onto a contrasting colored surface.
Webbing solution is a clear liquid, gelcoat additive, used to obtain "spatter" or "cobweb" effects. It is mixed with gel coat of one color and sprayed onto a contrasting colored surface.
Application: The proper mixing ratio is one part webbing solution to two parts gel coat by weight. It is then sprayed (after being catalyzed) over a contrasting colored surface. Alternatively it can be sprayed into a mold and the over sprayed with contrasting colored gel coat. Decorative effects produced by the webbing mixture will vary and relate directly to techniques of spray gun adjustments. A fine hairline created by a fuller material flow and decreased air volume. Experimentation will help determine the desired effect.
